CREATIVE PORTFOLIO

Explore my creative journey—from traditional formline art and beading to modern portraiture and fashion design

Keep Me in Mind

In Alaskan Native cultures, Forget Me Not flowers symbolize strength and resilience. These head pieces, crafted with traditional dentalium shells & pearls, draws inspiration from these flowers to honor the beauty and perseverance of Indigenous peoples.

I am here today, both physically and as an artist, because of my ancestors. These two headpieces represent my gratitude to all who came before me—their strength, the preservation of traditions, and my teachers who shared their knowledge. Forget us not—we are still here

I’m just me

Four pieces & visuals, including a traditional Ravenstail headband, Ravenstail earrings, leather shin guards, a contemporary dress inspired by a Haida tunic, and a veil.

Díi uu dii iij. I am learning what it means to be a traditional person in non-traditional spaces—how I can carry my traditional knowledge and love for contemporary art to create work that reflects my experiences and identities as an Indigenous person displaced from my homelands. I am just me

PRECIOUS OIL

This piece is inspired by my sister’s Haida name, Stláay Táwaa Kuyáas, which translates to "precious hands dripping with oil.". My sisterhood and my community have kept me grounded and have been my strength, allowing me to remain physically rooted to this earth.

My portfolio is a growing collection, currently featuring a few select projects. I’m in the process of expanding it with new work, including my next focus: wearable art, captured and expressed through visual storytelling and photography. Thank you for being here as I continue to evolve and create! <3
